Samsung Electronics labor union expects 50,000-worker strike over failed pay deal
The South Korean chipmaker and its union failed to reach agreement on Wednesday, with the union leader confirming plans for a full strike. A work stoppage threatens production of AI chips and other semiconductors at a time of high demand for advanced processors.

Samsung's latest round of negotiations with its unionized workers has collapsed, as has the final window for reaching an amicable solution ahead of next week's highly disruptive union-led strike.
